The majority of my photographs are taken in the Western United States, primarily in Arizona. My other photography interests focus around capturing the emotion and action around me. This could be on a football field or a gathering among friends; I want my pictures to evoke emotion.
My work has been published in Arizona Highways Magazine, Vertical Magazine, Rocky Mountain Game and Fish Magazine, Astronomy Magazine, Wildfire Today, Endangered Species Bulletin and Fire Management Today to name a few. My fire responsibilities have taken me across the United States as a member of one of the Southwest’s Incident Management Teams. I enjoy being able to share an insider’s perspective on incident management.

I would like to thank you for visiting my website and I hope you enjoy my photographs and take a moment to sign my guestbook at the link below. I enjoy having the opportunity to live and work in beautiful Northern Arizona and I am always looking for opportunites to capture the emotion of the world around me. As a Battalion Chief for the Sedona Fire District I have been given the opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The men and women I work with in Sedona and when I travel as a member of one of the Southwest's Incident Managment Teams are some of the best people I have ever known. Wildlife and travel photography also hold great interest for me. Having the ability to observe wildlife in its natural surroundings is a gift I continue to appreciate. I hope you enjoy my photographs.

Hi Jayson -
I'm a friend of Jessica's. She directed us to your site. Just looking at the Las Conchas photos breaks my heart, but at least the town of Los Alamos and the Labs have been kept safe. Your photos provide a special inside look at what goes on in fighting these wild fires. It seems wrong that you can make such devastating fires look so beautiful! Incredible work! Thanks for all of your hard work (photos and fire fighting) in the crazy fires this summer. Stay safe! God bless!

Hello Jayson, viewing your photography brings tears of sadness and that of joy. These Mountains are very sacred to all who know and love them - I was a resident of the Town of Greer for many Years. Thanks for saving it!! Thanks for the wonderful photography!
